Successful Students
A number of my advanced students have performed as soloists in the greater Washington metropolitan area. Many others have successfully auditioned for the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestra (AYPO), the Youth Orchestra of Fairfax, the Youth Orchestra of Prince William, the Loudoun Symphony Youth Orchestra, DC Youth Orchestra, and the Washington Youth Foundation Orchestra under Young K. Choi, music director. --District 12 Junior Orchestra (Grades 7-8) In addition, I have prepared more advanced students for successfull auditions with:
I have prepared many other students for successfull auditions with a number of orchestras organized by the Virginia Band & Orchestra Directors Association (VBODA). They include:
--District 12 Senior Orchestra (Grades 9-12)
--Senior Regional Orchestra
--Virginia All-State Orchestra
I also prepare 10-12 students every Spring to participate in the Solo and Ensemble Music Festival in Northern Virginia. (Grades 4-12)
On occasion, I also hold recitals for my students at various locations.
